FOSS4G2008
The GIS sites are all reporting on FOSS4G, well I couldn’t go (some of us aren’t rich 
), but we did have a presence there this year at least, poor Maurizio couldn’t get out of it as he lives in SA, you can check his post on MadMappers about it.
I’m sure it wasn’t as bad as he thought, but then again from what I have been reading about all the beer drinking going on any early morning presentation wouldn’t have gone too well.
